Now head back up the root, and walk up the top of the overturned building to your right at the top. Opposite it, there's another fleshy monstrosity - killing it will put that other angel out of action. From there, head down a new root, curving round until you see an item sitting by a corpse on a rocky ledge ahead. Run along the root ahead, avoiding the angel's projectiles until you can drop down right at the end, where there's a Divine Blessing waiting by a corpse. Just after Zoey, you can grab the Desert Pyromancer hood. Beating her rewards you with the Flame Fan pyromancy. Take down the two enemies accompanying her and she's pretty simple on her own - it's just a case of finding you range. Zoey hurls fireballs, touches you with a flame spell, conjures up a flame sword and uses a whip. He'll stay dead if you die, too, so it's worth doing if you were having issues hoovering up the items in the swamp area. There's an enemy fused the the roof here - killing it will disable the angel and net you some Twinkling Titanite. Before that, though, hop down onto the roof behind you, deal with the small enemy there, and use the roots to get to the roofs opposite. Run to the base of the root and there's a cave in front of you, where you'll face off against Desert Pyromancer Zoey. How to defeat Desert Pyromancer Zoey and the angels If you drop down near the top of this root you can get a Harald Curved Greatsword. Climb up, run back on the root intertwining with it and get a Titanite Chunk. From here, drop down and sprint for another root ahead. If you make it to the end, you'll be rewarded with a Ring of Favor. ![]() Go up, then drop down for yet another Titanite Chunk. ![]() Opposite where you come in, there's a mangled tree root you can walk up, at the other side of the swamp. Run across the swamp to the left for a Large Soul of a Weary Warrior, and keep going ahead to the other item surrounded by mushrooms: it's a Loincloth. Drop down into the swamp and towards the mushroom things nearby for the Desert Pyromancer Skirt. To the right as you come in, up on a ledge in the corner, are some Desert Pyromancer Gloves. Beware of curse damage from angel above as you fight the mushrooms. Ahead of you, you should see a toppled tower, in which you can drop inside to grab a Titanite Scale.Īt ground level, in the swamp area, across from you in a hut is a Purple Moss Clump. Instead of heading back in through the same crack in the wall, this time head up and over. You can also drop down and make a run for another item from here - it's a Titanite Chunk, though there's a good chance you'll die for it at this point. ![]() When grabbing that Ember nearby, be careful the angel doesn't catch you with a volley. Watch out for a swift, axe-wielding enemy inside. Hang here for a second and it should float a bit farther away, giving you a chance to run to the barn just across from you.įrom there, run to the large rock, then sprint for the crack in the wall across from you. ![]() Head back, and stick left and move from cover to cover until you grab a Titanite Chunk, avoiding the angel's projectiles. If you run into the tree roots on the right, you can find a way to loop around and get to the item you can see directly ahead from the bonfire. Head down and you'll see another of those angel things. Dark Souls 3 vs Dark Souls 1 Graphics Comparison If you go back to him in a bit, he will give you a Titanite Slab. Have a chat to him and he'll tell you of a treasure buried in a poisonous swamp. If you head back to the bonfire, just to the right, perched on a ledge, you'll see Lapp, the NPC you met earlier. To the left of the bonfire, run up the toppled windmill for a fight with some mushroom insects guarding some Black Firebombs.
